Gratitude and Commitment

Dr. Taniform Peter, President of the CPDM Communal Campaign Team, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the communal spirit and gratitude of the supporters:

Traditional Endorsement

The traditional ruler of Bamenda-Nkwe, Fon Forchesiri III, also offered his endorsement for President Biya, adding weight to the rally's message of unwavering support.
Political Tensions

The rally also witnessed bold political statements. Achobong Paul Tambeng, the City Mayor of Bamenda, announced his intention to sue presidential candidate Issa Tchiroma Bakary following recent unrest in the city, which has resulted in tragic loss of life and property. Mayor Tambeng condemned Tchiroma Bakary's controversial remarks about Chris Anu, an Ambazonian separatist leader, asserting:
> "A friend to a kidnapper is a kidnapper; a friend to a killer is a killer."
These comments reflect the deep frustrations among locals regarding ongoing violence and aim to galvanize additional support for President Biya.
Shifting Alliances

In a surprising move, a former militant from the Social Democratic Front (SDF), along with two others, publicly switched allegiance to the CPDM, expressing hopes for more development under President Biya's leadership.

As the October 12 election approaches, the CPDM's rally showcased a united front and determination to secure a decisive victory for Paul Biya.
