Smooth Voting Exercise in Batibo Subdivision
The voting exercise is unfolding smoothly in the Batibo subdivision, where approximately 18,624 registered voters are expected to participate across 79 polling stations. Despite the heavy downpour, the electoral process commenced at 8 AM, with many residents eager to exercise their civic duty.
Among the early voters is Minister Delegate at the Presidency in Charge of the Supreme State Audit, Mbah Acha Rose Fomundam, a native of Batibo.
She took part in the voting alongside her fellow citizens, demonstrating pride in the democratic process.
Election officials from ELECAM are actively ensuring that the electoral code is strictly adhered to at all polling stations, maintaining order and transparency throughout the voting process.
